Jennifer Klinger is a senior lecturer in the Management Department at Old Dominion University's Strome College of Business and serves as both the chief academic advisor for the Management Department and the faculty advisor for ODU’s SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Student Chapter. Before joining ODU in 2017, she worked for eight years in the Human Resources field. Jennifer worked for Target as an HR Manager and Store Manager. During her time with Target, she helped with the Target Internship Program and campus recruiting. She also worked as an Employee Relations Specialist at Dollar Tree’s corporate office.
Jennifer holds an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida. She became a member of SHRM in 2016 and earned her SHRM-SCP certification in July 2016. She is on the Hampton Roads SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) Board and serves as the Director of College Relations.
