Jose Rivas

Jose is associate professor at ITAM in Mexico City where he teaches global strategy, family business governance and a CEO seminar. He held different executive positions at ADO Mobility where he was also a board member before joining academia.

Jose holds a PhD from IE Business School an MBA from Northwestern (Kellogg) and a BBA from Anahuac University. His research focuses on boards, top managers, and IPOs. He has published academic articles, book chapters, business cases and a book on corporate governance in Mexico.

He is Vice President of the Iberoamerican Academy of Management, editorial board member of Corporate Governance: An International Review as well as Secretary and board member of the International Corporate Governance Society.
