Diversity (Research Committee)
Committee Purpose
The mission of the Diversity and Inclusion group is to gather scholars and practitioners interested in the variety of aspects around diversity, and inclusion on board and (senior) management positions. This line of work includes those interested on gender, age, or racial diversity to those interested on more deep level diversity, such as those related to tenure, experience, or values, among others, as well as the integration and inclusion of those members on boards. The community aims to create a strong network of academics, PhD students and practitioners that can help each other in terms of research, teaching, and best managerial practices.
Early Career Scholars
Committee Purpose
Our mission is to create a focused and thriving community of early-stage scholars interested in research and teaching various facets of corporate governance across all disciplines. The community would strive to create a network of corporate governance scholars who can support and help each other in both research and teaching. Members of this community are expected to share their nascent research ideas and provide constructive and developmental feedback to each other. Members are also expected to be willing and eager to share (innovative) teaching methods, materials, and resources, such as case studies and syllabi, on corporate governance topics that interest them and are relevant to the larger corporate governance community. We also plan to involve late-stage ICGS scholars who can provide mentorship and guidance to the young scholars throughout their career trajectory and within the broader ICGS community.
