Niels Hermes

Niels Hermes is professor of Corporate Governance and former chair of the Department of Economics, Econometrics and Finance of the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen, the Netherlands. His research and teaching interests relate to corporate governance, international finance and sustainable finance. He has published on these topics in journals such as the Economic Journal, Journal of World Business, Corporate Governance: An International Review, World Development and Journal of Banking and Finance. He has also organized several international conferences and summer schools on these topics. He is editor of Corporate Governance: An International Review.
